Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 34 is a classic cruising yacht from the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy, designed by Germán Frers. The model combines a seaworthy, solidly built hull with well-balanced sailing characteristics and a spacious, well-protected cockpit for a yacht of this size. The tiller steering further emphasizes the yacht’s traditional character and provides a direct connection to the rudder while sailing.
The Hallberg-Rassy 34 “Maja”, built in 1995, was kept in Denmark for many years and was primarily used for holidays and cruising. With two cabins, four berths and a headroom of 1.95 m, she offers a practical layout for extended stays on board.
A particular highlight is the very well-maintained interior. The high-quality wooden interior is in very good condition and reflects the warm, classic character typical of Hallberg-Rassy. The “Maja” has also recently undergone extensive maintenance. In May 2026, among other works, the Saildrive diaphragm was replaced, the underwater hull was newly antifouled and the engine was serviced. The batteries were also replaced in August 2026.
The combination of the classic Hallberg-Rassy interior, tiller steering, protected cockpit and recent technical maintenance makes the “Maja” an appealing cruising yacht for owners who appreciate traditional sailing and a solid, comfortable yacht.
The “Maja” is currently located in Heiligenhafen, Germany, and can be viewed by appointment.
