Description

Well-Maintained Owner’s Yacht with Extensive Upgrades

The Sunbeam 39 from the Austrian Schöchl shipyard was designed as a comfortable cruising yacht for longer passages and extended stays on board. The combination of a classic yacht design, generous interior and good cruising capabilities makes her well suited to private offshore and coastal cruising.

This Sunbeam 39 was built in 1995 and is now in the hands of her third owner. During his ownership, the yacht has been used exclusively for private purposes and on holiday cruises in the Mediterranean. She has never been commercially operated or used for charter, including by her previous owners.

Over the past years, the current owner has invested extensively in the yacht, bringing many areas up to a contemporary technical and equipment standard. The rig and sails, navigation equipment, electrical systems, technical systems as well as various interior and deck components have been renewed or modernised. The teak deck has also been completely renewed.

The work was not carried out as a one-time refit, but progressively over several years according to the yacht’s actual needs. The result is a Sunbeam 39 that retains the character of a yacht from the 1990s while benefiting from substantial investment by her current owner.

This Sunbeam 39 is particularly interesting in her owner’s version with two cabins, two heads and an additional factory-fitted, extendable double berth in the saloon. This provides a generous and flexible layout for both longer cruises and extended stays on board.

The owner is currently cruising the yacht in the Adriatic, making viewings possible at short notice by prior arrangement.
