We don’t just talk about yachts – we live them
Long before BootsProfis existed, sailing was already part of our lives. Hendrik grew up around sailboats, yacht clubs, and regattas in Berlin, and later owned several boats of his own. That early experience set the stage for what would come next: a family journey that would shape our lives forever.

Two Years at Sea
In 2016, we set off on a two-year voyage aboard our 39-ft Comfortina from 1984 — from the Baltic to the Caribbean and back. It was an incredible adventure, full of challenges and unexpected situations. There were moments of frustration with the boat, the weather, and repairs, but also unforgettable moments of joy and discovery.
These miles gave us a deep understanding of what life at sea really means — far beyond textbooks or theory.
From Lessons Learned to Helping Others
After returning, we realized that many of the challenges we had faced could be avoided with the right guidance, knowledge, and preparation. That insight became the foundation of BootsProfis.
Today, we help others navigate the entire world of sailing — from choosing and surveying the right yacht to trainings and eventual resale. Our goal is to give our clients the tools, experience, and support to enjoy their sailing journey safely and confidently.

A Community that Grew into a Company
What started as simple updates for friends and family grew into a wider community on YouTube — sailors and dreamers connecting, learning, and getting inspired.
And that community eventually became BootsProfis: a team with decades of sailing experience, thousands of nautical miles, and a shared commitment to supporting others. That's how BootsProfis was born.
