Sail with Confidence

Individually tailored training

Each training is adapted to you — your experience level, your yacht, and your plans. No standard program. We focus on what actually matters for you.

Private & focused

No mixed groups, no strangers on board. The skipper’s full attention is on you or your family, allowing for faster progress and a calm learning environment.

Strong technical background

We know boats inside out. Especially valuable for new owners: you’ll get to know your yacht in depth — systems, handling, and technical details that matter in everyday use.

Highly qualified skippers

Our skippers bring at least 30,000 nautical miles of experience, solid teaching skills, and professional certifications — calm, structured, and focused on real-world sailing.

Learning on your own yacht

Learning on your own yacht — the most effective way

  • Introduction to systems, technology, and handling;

  • Sail training, maneuvers, harbour work — as needed;

  • Understanding the limits and potential of your own boat;

  • Joint analysis: what works well and what could be improved;

  • Delivery passages with a training focus;

  • With an experienced skipper on board, you’ll get to know your yacht faster, more safely, and in greater depth.

Training on a charter yacht

I’d like to share a short piece of feedback about the skipper training I did with Chris. The four days of training were extremely valuable. I focused on harbor maneuvers, especially single-handed docking and undocking with spring lines, and Chris adapted perfectly to that. It helped me enormously and I now feel much more confident handling the boat. He took the time to explain the yacht in detail and responded very individually to my questions. What I found particularly helpful was how we broke the single-handed maneuvers down into clear steps, always moving from one safe position to the next. This structure gave me a lot of confidence and helped me stay much calmer during the maneuvers. … The training felt very dynamic, and it truly felt like we were working together on my learning progress. I can wholeheartedly recommend his training.

Hello BootsProfis,

We did two weeks of skipper training with Stevy through you in May. I’d like to share some brief feedback (feel free to pass it on to Stevy): Over the course of two weeks, Stevy provided skipper training for my partner and me. The days were extremely valuable. Stevy always challenged and supported us in line with our level of experience — but never overwhelmed us. Each day ended with a feedback session where we discussed mistakes and how to improve.

Overall, the two weeks were fantastic, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Stevy.

Thank you & best regards,
Levend

FP Lucia 40

From July 19 to August 2, we — Domenic, Luz, Markus, Barbara, and our four-legged crew member Pancho — spent two weeks aboard a Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, deepening and building our sailing knowledge under the guidance of skipper Chris.
…After just a few hours together, it became clear — Chris not only brings enormous expertise and experience, but also an open, humorous, and relaxed personality that immediately creates trust and a great atmosphere on board.
…Chris didn’t just explain how things work, but also why — making sure we truly understood the principles behind them.
…We finish this skipper training with significantly more skills, wonderful memories — and the clear intention to sail with Chris again.
